Dreamland

Now that we are at the final stages of entre nos we are entering a reality that changes by the minute. I have been unable to predict anything...I feel like I am a feather in a tornado, being turned every which way and not really having any power as to where I am going, or any idea as to where I may end up.

We have been showing the film to sales reps, publicists, film festivals and film lovers. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, more than I anticipated, more than I allowed myself to dream. Positive after positive response my feet began to lift off the ground and I was allowing myself to float into dreamland where everything was perfect and everyone loved everything about the film. Then this morning came a needle that popped my bubble...someone didn't like the film. I took the comments in stride, my skin is thick enough to take rejection, I've been in this business long enough to not allow someones opinion to ruin my day or shake me to my artistic core. Instead, I am grateful for being brought down to earth, grateful for being reminded to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground and to keep grinding.

So today it's back to the hustle and I'll leave the dreamland for when I sleep.
