Traverse City we love thee!

Gloria and I spent a wonderful weekend at Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival. We screened the film to 2 sold out crowds, we taught a three hour film class and relaxed on the most beautiful bay with our new friend Rose Hollander. The weekend could not have been any better. We were amazed by the kindness of the people and how supportive they were of the film. And to top off the perfect weekend we won the Jury Award for best film! Happiness all around!

The movie, the festival, the people of Traverse city all were perfect. Thank you for such a gift.
Thank you for bringing ENTRE NOS to the midwest audience and most importantly for sharing this compelling story of immigration to this audience. So many women, children and families are living situations that result from the constant trauma of their immigration to this country. Aside from the reasons why people immigrate, this story gave this woman a face, an identity and made the audience identify with her as a human being before her immigration status. Thanks for bringing that.
It was an honor to have you here in Traverse City, Michigan. Many thanks to our dear Rose, and to the Cooks and Calt-McGues, for sponsoring your wonderful film. "Entre Nos" was both heart-wrenching and hopeful, a highlight of the festival for many of us. We wish you all every success and joy, and we hope you'll come back and see us again soon.
